pets in a raiding

The biggest things with pets in a raiding situation is bringing the appropriate one with the appropriate sp. For example, keep one pet maxed out in Fire Resist for Al'ar it works wonders and keeps your pet up longer without having to keep himonstantly healed. For Void Reaver you may want to go with a pet with Aane Resist (helped me out a ton when I was tually fighting him). Avoidae is also huge, and regardless of what pet you bring they should always have this talent maxed out. Your typal pet should have the following skills: Avoidae - Rank 2obra Reflexes - Rank 1 Random DPS ability - Rank Highest* Bite - Rank 9 (if possible) Resist - Rank 5** Stamina - Rank Highest*** *Now this varies depending on the pet obviously,an range from Gore to Lightning Breath, tolaw, but any type of fus dump is what you're looking for to add the most damage for your pet. **This varies depending on fight as to what you should sp it for. Examples: Void Reaver - Max Aane Resist Al'ar - Max Fire Resist Mother Sharaz - Max Shadow Resist Kaegos - Max Aane Resist These are just highly suggested for these bosses. Youan do it without the resists sure, but this makes it mh easier. ***Basally whatever points you have left you want to invest into more stamina for your pet. Armor is pointless in a raid bause if your pet is tanking something, more then likely you're already FD on the floor and the raid is in the middle of a we. Or you cidentallylked "Attk" and now your pet is about to we the whole raid... not that anyone's ever done that before. Growl - up to you, it's a freebie anyway and won'tost any points to give it the max rank, but you also don't want your pet taunting things in a raid either. Just please remember to take it off Autoast =P ower - Hardly ever used (right now). May prove to be more useful with the new expansion talents but only time will tell. Definitely not worth the points invested though (in the expansion all pets reive Growl,ower, andlaw as base abilities anyway).
